Abstract
Perkembangan infrastruktur yang semakin banyak membuat kebutuhan bahan bangunan semakin meningkat salah satunya batako. Batako memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan. Kekurangan batako yang dimemiliki yaitu kualitas agak rendah karena mudah terjadi keretakan pada dinding. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengatasi kekurangan dan meningkatkan mutu serta kualitas diperlukan inovasi dengan bahan yang bisa meningkatkan kualitas serta mencegah agar batako tidak terjadi retakan. Salah satu bahan yang diyakini memiliki sifat kelenturannya yang tinggi yaitu serat sabut kelapa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode pengembangan dengan model pengembangan 4D. Rancang campuran batako berlubang ukuran 35cmx18cmx7cm dengan perbandingan campuran 1pc:6ps dan FAS-0,5 serta penambahan serat sabut kelapa 0%;.0,20%;.0,25%;.0,30% dari berat adukan. Hasil pengujian sifat tampak, luas dan volume lubang memenuhi standar SNI.03-0349-1989. Untuk hasil pengujian ukuran dan tolerasi memenuhi standar ukuran pada pabrik batako press.CV.-Saipul.Putra.Sakti, namun jika mengacu standar SNI.03-0349-1989 ukuran benda uji masih menyimpang. Hasil nilai kuat tekan rata-rata umur 28 hari dengan presentase serat sabut kelapa yaitu 0%.(32,32kg/cm2), 0,20%.(29,46kg/cm2), 0,25%.(36,51kg/cm2), dan 0,30%-(39,03kg/cm2). Nilai kuat tekan optimum terdapat pada presentase 0,30%-(39,03kg/cm2) mutu-III. Selanjutnya hasil pengujian penyerapan air didapat nilai rata-rata setiap presentase 0%.(12,013%), 0,20%.(15,061%), 0,25%-(13,931%),.dan.0,30%.(5,928%) yang memenuhi standar SNI-03-0349-1989. Dari semua hasil menyimpulkan pemanfaatan serat sabut kelapa untuk campuran batako menghasilkan hasil yang terbilang bagus dalam campuran batako dengan hasil pengujian memenuhi standar SNI 03-0349-1989. Concrete blocks have advantages and disadvantages. The disadvantages of bricks are that the quality is rather low because cracks easily occur on the walls. Therefore, to overcome shortcomings and improve quality and quality, innovation is needed with materials that can improve quality and prevent cracks from occurring. One material that is believed to have high flexibility properties is coconut fiber. The method used is the development method with the 4D development model. Design a hollow brick mixture measuring 35cmx18cmx7cm with a mixture ratio of 1pc:6ps and FAS.0.5 and the addition of coconut fiber 0%;.0.20%;.0.25%;.0.30% of the weight of the mortar. The results of testing the visible properties, area and volume of holes meet the standards of SNI-03-0349-1989. For the results of testing the size and toleration meet the size standards at the press brick factory.CV.-Saipul.Putra.Sakti, but when referring to the SNI.03-0349-1989 standard the size of the test object still deviates. The results of the average compressive strength value at 28 days of age with coconut fiber composition are 0%.(32,32kg/cm2), 0,20%.(29,46kg/cm2), 0,25%.(36,51kg/cm2), and 0,30%-(39,03kg/cm2). The optimum compressive strength value is found in the composition of 0.30%(39,03kg/cm2) quality-III. Furthermore, the results of water absorption testing obtained the average value of each composition of 0% (12.013%), 0.20% (15.061%), 0.25%(13.931%), and 0.30%(5.928%) which meets the standards of SNI-03-0349-1989. From all the results, it is concluded that the use of coconut fiber for the mixture of bricks produces fairly good results in the mixture of bricks with the test results meeting the SNI 03-0349-1989 standard.
