Abstract
Menurut data Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet Indonesia (APJII), pengguna internet di Indonesia mencapai 215 juta pada periode 2022-2023. Dengan meningkatnya penggunaan internet, risiko serangan jaringan seperti ping flood, port scanning, dan Denial of Service (DoS) juga meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem keamanan jaringan berbasis Intrusion Detection System (IDS) menggunakan Snort yang terintegrasi dengan Telegram Bot. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize), dengan batasan penelitian hingga tahap desain. Sistem dirancang untuk mendeteksi aktivitas mencurigakan secara real-time dan mengirimkan notifikasi otomatis kepada administrator melalui Telegram. Hasil rancangan menunjukkan bahwa Snort sebagai IDS open-source memiliki kemampuan mendeteksi ancaman jaringan dengan efisien, sedangkan Telegram Bot mempermudah pengelolaan dan respons cepat terhadap ancaman. Rancangan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan keamanan jaringan di lingkungan sekolah, khususnya di SMK PGRI 11 Ciledug, dan memberikan dasar untuk implementasi serta pengujian lebih lanjut. ***** According to data from the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII), internet users in Indonesia reached 215 million in the 2022-2023 period. With the increasing use of the internet, the risk of network attacks such as ping flood, port scanning, and Denial of Service (DoS) has also risen. This study aims to design a network security system based on an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) using Snort integrated with a Telegram Bot. The system development method employed is PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize), with the scope of the study limited to the design phase. The system is designed to detect suspicious activities in real-time and send automatic notifications to administrators via Telegram. The design results demonstrate that Snort, as an open-source IDS, is capable of efficiently detecting network threats, while the Telegram Bot facilitates management and quick response to threats. This design is expected to serve as a solution to enhance network security in school environments, particularly at SMK PGRI 11 Ciledug, and provide a foundation for future implementation and testing.
