Language is a means of communication. Through language, a person or child will develop social skills with other people. Language is one aspect of development in early childhood that is important to be developed. Language development in early childhood can be done with the learning design carried out by teachers at early childhood institutions. The purpose of implementing this community service activity is to understand strategies and implementation of early childhood language learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a case study method with participants selected through purposive sampling. The participants in this study were early childhood education teachers on Untung Jawa Island, Seribu Islands, DKI Jakarta Province, who were selected through purposive sampling. This community service activity is implemented online through mentoring methods for teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic. This assistance is carried out through seminars and workshops held online to provide understanding to teachers about early childhood language learning who carry out distance learning or study from home due to the closure of PAUD institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The result of this activity is the formation of teacher understanding for the implementation of language learning in early childhood even though children learn from home. So it is hoped that PAUD teachers can be more creative in designing engaging language learning in various conditions.
