Healthy and strong children can be formed from the consumption of a balanced nutritious meal. Unbalanced nutritional intake will cause problems for the growth and development of children. Healthy children are also characterized by healthy teeth and mouth. Bad breath (halitosis) can cause health problems and can affect children's self-confidence. This community service activity was carried out at the Aulia Al-Ikhlas Orphanage, Kampar Regency, Pekanbaru. This activity was held on August 7, 2022. This activity was attended by 19 children aged 7-17 years old from the Aulia Al-Ikhlas Orphanage. This community service activity was carried out in three stages: education about balanced nutrition meal and bad breath prevention, demonstration of how to brush your teeth, and anthropometric examination. The results of community service activities seen from the pretest and posttest scores showed that there was an increase in knowledge about balanced nutrition and prevention of bad-smelling breath by 76,48%. The results of the anthropometric examination revealed that children with normal nutritional status were 78.96%, 10.52% with overweight, and obese. Through this community service activity, it is hoped that children will have a variety of food with a balanced nutritional pattern and maintain of dental and oral health.
