Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana kondisi penyimpanan arsip inaktif pada unit kerja Human Capital Database di PT X, mengetahui apa kendala terhadap penyimpanan arsip inaktif pada unit kerja Human Capital Database di PT X, dan juga mengetahui bagaimana proses pemindahan arsip inaktif pada unit kerja Human Capital Database di PT X. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengamati fenomena atau peristiwa dalam keadaan aslinya. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh langsung dari sumber aslinya melalui teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penyimpanan arsip inaktif di unit kerja Human Capital Database PT X masih belum optimal. Meski sistem klasifikasi berbasis kronologis telah diterapkan, penataan fisik arsip tetap berantakan akibat keterbatasan ruang yang tidak mencukupi volume arsip yang terus bertambah. Sebagai solusi, PT X memindahkan arsip inaktif ke mitra kearsipan di Cikarang. Kata Kunci: Arsip Inaktif, Penyimpanan, Pemindahan Arsip ***** The purpose of this study is to understand the condition of inactive records storage in the Human Capital Database Unit at PT X, to identify the challenges related to inactive records storage in the Human Capital Database Unit at PT X, and to examine the process of transferring inactive records in the Human Capital Database Unit at PT X. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, aiming to observe phenomena or events in their original state. The data used in this study is primary data obtained directly from original sources through observation, documentation, and interviews. Based on the findings, inactive records storage in the Human Capital Database Unit at PT X is still suboptimal. Although a chronological based classification system has been implemented, the physical arrangement of records remains disorganized due to limited storage space that cannot accommodate the increasing volume of inactive records. As a solution, PT X transfers inactive records to an archiving partner in Cikarang. Keywords: Inactive Records, Storage, Archive Transfer
