Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh internal locus of control dan socioeconomic status terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK Negeri 45 Jakarta yang dimediasi oleh kematangan karier. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama empat bulan, yaitu mulai dari September 2024 hingga Desember 2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan penyebaran kuesioner melalui google formulir. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/i kelas 12 SMK Negeri 45 Jakarta Barat dan untuk sampel penelitian diambil sebanyak 163 responden menggunakan rumus Slovin. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling dengan teknik sampel proportionate stratified random sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer. Dalam penelitian ini, metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur dengan menggunakan SmartPLS versi 4.1.0.9 penelitian ini mengacu pada Hair et al. yang menggunakan 2 model perhitungan PLS yaitu Outer Model (Model Pengukuran) dan Inner Model (Model Struktural). Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) internal locus of control (X1) memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kematangan karier (Z). 2) socioeconomic status (X2) memiliki pengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kematangan karier (Z). 3) internal locus of control (X1) memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja (Y). 4) socioeconomic status (X2) memiliki pengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja (Y). 5) kematangan karier (Z) memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja (Y). 6) internal locus of control (X1) yang dimediasi oleh kematangan karier (Z) memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja (Y). 7) socioeconomic status (X2) dimediasi oleh kematangan karier (Z) memiliki pengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja (Y).***** The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of internal locus of control and socioeconomic status on the career readiness of students of SMK Negeri 45 Jakarta which is mediated by career maturity. This research was conducted for four months, starting from September 2024 to December 2024. The research method used in this research is a survey method by distributing questionnaires via google forms. The population in this study were 12th grade students of SMK Negeri 45 West Jakarta and the research sample was taken as many as 163 respondents using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique used probability sampling with proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection in this study is primary data. In this study, the data analysis method used is path analysis using SmartPLS version 4.1.0.9 this research refers to Hair et al. which uses 2 PLS calculation models, namely the Outer Model (Measurement Model) and Inner Model (Structural Model). Hypothesis testing uses a path algorithm that has been bootstrapped by looking at the T statistical value and P Values. The results obtained in this study indicate that: 1) internal locus of control (X1) has a positive and significant affects on career maturity (Z). 2) socioeconomic status (X2) has not significant affects on career maturity (Z). 3) internal locus of control (X1) has a positive and significant affects on career readiness (Y). 4) socioeconomic status (X2) has not significant affects on career readiness (Y). 5) career maturity (Z) has a positive and significant affects on career readiness (Y). 6) internal locus of control (X1) mediated by career maturity (Z) has a positive and significant effect on career readiness (Y). 7) socioeconomic status (X2) mediated by career maturity (Z) has not significant affects on career readiness (Y).
