Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perkembangan GKII Jemaat Solideo Pondok Gede, GKII Jemaat Rehobot Taman Wisma Asri, dan GKII Jemaat Rehobot Mustika Jaya pada 1983-2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode historis dalam membahas penelitian terkait Perkembangan GKII di Wilayah Kota Bekasi rentang tahun 1983-2021 sesuai dengan patokan historis. Metode historis memiliki 4 tahapan yang perlu dilakukan, yaitu Heuristik, Kritik Sumber, Interpretasi dan Historiografi. Dengan melalui tahapan-tahapan tersebut, penulisan terkait Perkembangan GKII di Wilayah Kota Bekasi rentang tahun 1983-2021 menjadi sebuah penulisan sejarah dan menambah informasi mengenai sejarah seputar GKII. Hasil penelitian ini adalah perjalanan Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia yang dimulai sejak kiprah C&MA dalam menyebarkan doktrin Kemah Injil di Hindia-Belanda pada tahun 1930 hingga memiliki banyak jemaat di Indonesia termasuk Jakarta dan sekitarnya dengan berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi. Hadirnya GKII di Kota Bekasi tidak terlepas dari hadirnya C&MA dan KINGMI di Jakarta pada tahun 1964 dimana sebelumnya berkantor di Jawa Barat pada tahun 1954. Hasil penelitian lainnya adalah perkembangan jumlah anggota jemaat, perkembangan tata cara ibadah, dan perkembangan situasi eksternal di sekitar jemaat dari GKII Jemaat Solideo Pondok Gede, GKII Jemaat Rehobot Taman Wisma Asri dan GKII Jemaat Mustika Jaya sejak awal berdiri hingga tahun 2021 yang membawa pengaruh bagi penyebaran doktrin Kemah Injil di Kota Bekasi dan sekitarnya. Perjalanan dari 3 Jemaat GKII sejak awal terbentuk memiliki dinamika dalam internal maupun eksternal. Dinamika ini termasuk permasalahan lokasi di GKII Jemaat Solideo Pondok Gede karena masyarakat sempat menolak keberadaan gereja pada masa awal terbentuk serta GKII Jemaat Rehobot Taman Wisma Asri yang sempat mendapatkan teror hingga perusakan bangunan setengah jadi di lahan yang diberikan oleh pihak Developer Perumahan Taman Wisma Asri, permasalahan internal dalam GKII Jemaat Solideo Pondok Gede pada tahun 2016-2017 yang mengakibatkan pengurangan jemaat serta pemecahan masalah terkait aktivitas ibadah sebagai pembelajaran untuk lebih baik dan menjadi titik tolak untuk berkembang sebagai jemaat yang kuat secara internal serta berguna secara eksternal, pembukaan Pos Penginjilan di Harvest City yang menjadi babak baru GKII Jemaat Rehobot Mustika Jaya dan GKII Jemaat Rehobot Taman Wisma Asri dalam penyebaran Pos Penginjilan kemudian Pandemi COVID-19 pada tahun 2020-2021 yang memberikan pengalaman dalam pelaksanaan ibadah maupun menata administrasi serta keuangan sesuai keadaan. Hingga tahun peneliti menyelesaikan penulisan karya ilmiah ini, 3 Jemaat GKII tersebut semakin berkembang dalam hal bangunan maupun dalam hal solidaritas jemaat yang memberikan bukti dari hasil perjuangan dan perjalanan mereka sejak awal berdiri. Kata kunci: Gereja, Jemaat, Kemah Injil, Pelayanan ***** This study aims to explain the development of GKII Jemaat Solideo Pondok Gede, GKII Jemaat Rehobot Taman Wisma Asri, and GKII Jemaat Rehobot Mustika Jaya in 1983-2021. This study uses a historical method in discussing research related to the Development of GKII in the Bekasi City Area in the period 1983-2021 according to historical benchmarks. The historical method has 4 stages that need to be carried out, namely Heuristics, Source Criticism, Interpretation and Historiography. By going through these stages, the writing related to the Development of GKII in the Bekasi City Area in the period 1983-2021 becomes a historical writing and adds information about the history of GKII. The results of this study are the journey of the Indonesian Gospel Tabernacle Church which began with the C&MA's role in spreading the doctrine of the Gospel Tabernacle in the Dutch East Indies in 1930 to having many congregations in Indonesia including Jakarta and its surroundings with various challenges faced. The presence of GKII in Bekasi City cannot be separated from the presence of C&MA and KINGMI in Jakarta in 1964 where previously they had offices in West Java in 1954. Other research results are the development of the number of congregation members, the development of worship procedures, and the development of the external situation around the congregation of GKII Jemaat Solideo Pondok Gede, GKII Jemaat Rehobot Taman Wisma Asri and GKII Jemaat Mustika Jaya since its inception until 2021 which has influenced the spread of the doctrine of the Gospel Tabernacle in Bekasi City and its surroundings. The journey of the 3 GKII Congregations since its inception has had dynamics both internally and externally. These dynamics include location issues at GKII Jemaat Solideo Pondok Gede because the community had rejected the existence of the church when it was first formed and GKII Jemaat Rehobot Taman Wisma Asri which had experienced terror and destruction of half-finished buildings on land provided by the Taman Wisma Asri Housing Developer, internal problems in GKII Jemaat Solideo Pondok Gede in 2016-2017 which resulted in a reduction in the congregation and solving problems related to worship activities as a learning experience to be better and become a starting point to develop as a congregation that is strong internally and useful externally, the opening of the Evangelism Post in Harvest City which became a new chapter for GKII Jemaat Rehobot Mustika Jaya and GKII Jemaat Rehobot Taman Wisma Asri in the distribution of Evangelism Posts then the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020-2021 which provided experience in carrying out worship and arranging administration and finances according to circumstances. Until the year the researcher completed writing this scientific work, the 3 GKII congregations had continued to develop in terms of buildings and in terms of congregational solidarity, which provided evidence of the results of their struggles and journey since their inception.
