Abstract

Topeng Blantek merupakan seni pertunjukan tradisional Betawi yang berfungsi sebagai media pelestarian budaya dan kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis struktur pementasan, nilai-nilai, dan bentuk kearifan lokal yang tercermin dalam lakon “Golok Pusaka” di Kampung Budaya Silat Beksi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur pementasan Topeng Blantek terdiri dari tiga tahap utama, yaitu prapementasan, pementasan, dan pascapementasan. Nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang tercermin meliputi hubungan dengan Sang Pencipta, hubungan dengan alam yang direpresentasikan oleh properti tradisional, nilai demokrasi, serta nilai adat berdamai yang digambarkan melalui adegan penyelesaian konflik secara damai. Bentuk-bentuk kearifan lokal yang ditemukan meliputi kepercayaan, kesenian, upacara daur hidup, penghormatan terhadap hewan dan tumbuhan, kuliner, cerita rakyat, dan pantun Betawi. Namun, permainan anak-anak tidak ditemukan karena fokus cerita lebih menonjolkan konflik antartokoh dewasa. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya Topeng Blantek sebagai sarana pelestarian budaya dan penghidupan kearifan lokal, menjadikannya lebih dari sekadar hiburan, tetapi juga cerminan nilai-nilai sosial dan identitas budaya masyarakat Betawi. Kata Kunci: Kearifan lokal, tradisi lisan, Betawi, Teater Topeng Blantek, teater tradisional. ***** Topeng Blantek is a traditional Betawi performing art that serves as a medium for cultural preservation and local wisdom. This study aims to analyze the structure of the performance, the values, and forms of local wisdom reflected in the play "Golok Pusaka" at Kampung Budaya Silat Beksi. The method used is descriptive qualitative, employing observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results indicate that the structure of the Topeng Blantek performance consists of three main stages: pre-performance, performance, and post-performance. The values of local wisdom reflected include the relationship with the Creator, the relationship with nature represented by traditional props, democratic values, and customary values of reconciliation depicted through scenes of peaceful conflict resolution. The forms of local wisdom identified include beliefs, arts, life cycle ceremonies, respect for animals and plants, culinary traditions, folklore, and Betawi rhymes. However, children’s games were not found as the storyline focused more on conflicts among adult characters. This study emphasizes the significance of Topeng Blantek as a medium for cultural preservation and the embodiment of local wisdom, making it more than just entertainment but also a reflection of the social values and cultural identity of the Betawi community.
