Abstract

Keterbatasan lapangan kerja semakin nyata, yang berakibat pada peningkatan jumlah pengangguran seiring pertumbuhan penduduk. Masalah pengangguran dapat diatasi dengan cara salah satunya yaitu berwirausaha. Kewirausahaan turut menciptakan lapangan kerja baru dan memperluas kesempatan kerja. Untuk itu perlu adanya pendidikan kewirausahaan dan locus of control dalam rangka meningkatkan intensi berwirausaha. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji ketiga variabel tersebut untuk mengetahui kontribusi pendidikan kewirausahaan dan locus of control dalam meningkatkan intensi berwirausaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui survei daring. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner daring berbantuan Google Formulir, yang menggunakan skala Likert. Penelitian ini melibatkan 191 siswa sebagai sampel, dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan tabel Isaac & Michael. Data dianalisis dengan perangkat lunak Smart PLS, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan berpengaruh terhadap intensi berwirausaha dan locus of control berpengaruh terhadap intensi berwirausaha.***** Job market limitations are increasingly apparent, resulting in an increase in the number of unemployed along with population growth. The problem of unemployment can be overcome by one of the ways, namely entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship also creates new jobs and expands employment opportunities. For this reason, entrepreneurship education and locus of control are needed in order to increase entrepreneurial intentions. This study will examine these three variables to determine the contribution of entrepreneurship education and locus of control in increasing entrepreneurial intentions. This study uses a quantitative method with primary data collected through an online survey. The data collection instrument is an online questionnaire assisted by Google Forms, which uses a Likert scale. This study involved 191 students as samples, selected using a purposive sampling technique based on the Isaac & Michael table. The data were analysed using Smart PLS software, the results showed that entrepreneurship education had an effect on entrepreneurial intentions and locus of control had an effect on entrepreneurial intentions.
