Abstract

Sistem informasi ialah rangkaian proses pengolahan data hingga menghasilkan sebuah informasi untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Sistem informasi bimbingan akademik pada program studi manajemen pendidikan masih dilakukan secara konvensional melalui tatap muka dan/atau komunikasi melalui aplikasi WhatsApp, sehingga proses bimbingan akademik belum efektif antara dosen dengan mahasiswa hanya dilakukan pada kebutuhan tertentu saja dan pengelolaan data masih belum terpusat. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti merancang model sistem informasi bimbingan akademik berbasis website sehingga proses bimbingan dapat berjalan efektif dan efisien, serta penandatanganan KRS dan/atau KHS tidak perlu dilakukan secara konvensional. Model sistem informasi ini diharapkan dapat dikembangkan dan diimplementasikan di masa yang akan datang.*****Information system is a series of data processing processes to produce information to achieve predetermined goals. The academic guidance information system in the education management study program is still carried out conventionally through face-to-face and/or communication via the WhatsApp application, so that the academic guidance process has not been effective between lecturers and students only at certain needs and data management is still not centralized. In this study, researchers designed a website-based academic guidance information system model so that the guidance process can run effectively and efficiently, and the signing of KRS and / or KHS does not need to be done conventionally. This information system model is expected to be developed and implemented in the future.
