Abstract

One of the main components of physical condition in the sport of football is endurance VO2max. Physical condition analysis is not only carried out for each player, but also needs to have data per playing position. This research method is quantitative descriptive analysis with a sample size of 30 players consisting of 6 playing positions. Individual research results show that 13% (4 players) are in the good category, 60% (18 players) in the medium category, 17% (5 players) in the poor category, 10% (3 players) in the very poor category, and 0% (0 players) in the very good category, while the results of the analysis based on playing position found an average level VO2max Goalkeeper (GK) was 35.93 in the very poor category, defender (CB) was 45.26 (medium), wing defender (FB) was 43.68 (medium), midfielder (CM) was 51.88 (good ), Winger (WF) of 45.70 (medium) and Striker (CF) of 44.80 (medium) in units of ml/kg/min. These data indicate the need to develop a training program to improve physical condition in accordance with the characteristics of the playing position.
