Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan program bimbingan konseling karier untuk meningkatkan kematangan karier peserta didik SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 7, 8 dan 9 dari SMPN 61, SMPN 88, SMPN 111, SMPN 130 dan SMPN 191. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Nonprobability Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrument career maturity inventory form C. Instrumen penelitian dianalisis berdasarkan 3 jenjang kategori yaitu sangat tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Penerapan program bimbingan konseling karir ini mampu meningkatkan kematangan karir peserta didik sebesar 9,7%. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan teknik uji Independent Sample T-test dalam SPSS 20 diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai Sig. sebesar 0.000. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa program bimbingan konseling karier untuk meningkatkan kematangan karir di SMP Negeri wilayah Jakarta Barat artinya H1 diterima. Implikasi dari penelitian program bimbingan konseling karier mampu menunjang peserta didik untuk mengembangkan karier, bakat, minat, potensi sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan sehingga peserta didik dapat menghadapi masa depan yang semakin kompetitif. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of counseling guidance programs to improve the career maturity of junior high school students. The research method used is an experimental research with quantitative. The sample of this study were students in grades 7, 8 and 9 from SMPN 61, SMPN 88, SMPN 111, SMPN 130 and SMPN 191. Sampling used Nonprobability Sampling. Data collection was carried out using a career maturity inventory instrument of C form. The research instrument was carried out based on 3 levels of very high, medium and low categories. This career counseling application program increased students' training by 9.7%. The results of hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample T-test test technique in SPSS 20 obtained the results that the value of Sig. of 0,000. Thus it can be concluded that the career counseling guidance program to improve career maturity in the SMP Negeri West Jakarta region means that H1 is accepted. The implications of research career guidance counseling programs support students for career development, interests, interests, potential in accordance with the development of participants who can compete.
