Abstract
Latar belakang penelitian pengembangan media poster yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dikarenakan masih kurangnya penggunaan media poster sebagai media pembelajaran guru. Kurangnya inovasi dan kreatifitas guru menjadikan proses pembelajaran hanya menggunakan metode ceramah, yang apabila dilakukan berulang-ulang dapat menimbulkan rasa jenuh terhadap siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media poster dan mengetahui kelayakan serta keefektifan media pembelajaran ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) yang dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama 90 Jakarta Timur. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data setelah produk divalidasi oleh validator, produk akhir yang dihasilkan telah memenuhi kriteria layak dengan skor rata-rata dari ahli media sebesar 80%, ahli materi 98%, rata-rata hasil uji lapangan pre-test sebesar 55,39, rata-rata hasil uji lapangan post-test sebesar 91,38, dan rata-rata hasil uji normalitas sebaran data sebesar 92,95%. Media poster sudah layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran Keselamatan Kebakaran. ABSTRACT The background of the poster media development research conducted by researchers is due to the lack of use of poster media as teacher learning media. The lack of innovation and creativity of the teacher makes the learning process only uses the lecture method, which if done repeatedly can cause boredom towards students. This study aims to develop poster media and determine the feasibility and effectiveness of this learning media. This study uses research and development or Research and Development (R & D) conducted at Junior High School 90 in East Jakarta. The types of data used in this study are quantitative data. Based on the results of data analysis after the product is validated by the validator, the final product produced has met the proper criteria with an average score of 80% of media experts, 98% of material experts, the average pre-test field test results of 55.39, average the average post-test field test results were 91.38, and the average results of the normality test data distribution were 92.95%. The poster media are appropriate to be used as learning media for Fire Safety.
