Abstract

Improving teachers' professional competence is one of the crucial factors in supporting learning success. At the At-Taqwa VIII Foundation, Karang Tengah, Bekasi, the results of the situation analysis showed that 13.8% of teachers had not participated in professionalism training for a long time, and only 24.1% of teachers had received training in the past year. This community service activity aims to train teachers at the At-Taqwa VIII Foundation in applying "Kartu Shah" media as an interactive learning tool to improve their professional competence. The method used in this training is workshops and mentoring that involve theoretical presentations, discussions, and simulations of media use. The training was held on August 24, 2024, with 40 participants organized by a team of lecturers from the Arabic Language Education Study Program of Jakarta State University. The evaluation results showed that 82.8% of the participants were delighted with the activity, and 79.3% agreed that the learning media presented could increase teaching creativity. Thus, this training successfully improves teachers' understanding of the use of interactive media and contributes positively to their professional competence.
