Reading interest is a source of motivation that encourages someone to do what they want and they are free to choose. Reading interest is not only seen from the desire or what is read, but the reading room environment is also a determinant to encourage someone to like reading. A library has not only a good building structure but also a good and beautiful room. School libraries are expected to be able to create reading pleasure for visitors. The library is a fundamental tool for learning, both at school and outside of school and can help students and teachers to complete tasks in the teaching and learning process. The reading room is a room that needs to be arranged so that it looks beautiful so that it supports students to like reading. A conducive environment greatly influences students' reading interest. Library facilities and buildings are currently still considered as dirty, uncomfortable places due to lack of attention and minimal budget and low awareness of the management to create libraries to design libraries that are more modern and attractive. Library design should follow current tastes. The library should be made more comfortable, open, regular air circulation, maximum lighting, playgrounds, and a recreational environment.
