Abstract

Sidoasri village is located close to the tourist attractions namely virgin beach. Its very strategic location for tourists to visit gives rise to a new idea to open jobs for local residentsto produce products that can be sold and increase family income. One of the activities to fill the existing potential is to provide training in the manufacture of beach holsters with the colet technique. With the aim of improving the skills and economy of the family. The colet technique as one of the traditional fabric dyeing methods, was chosen because of its simple process but resulting in a hight-value product. At this training the citizens are trained to master the basic techniques of dyeing from start to finish into a ready to use and saleable product. The purpose of this training is to improve the creativity and economy of Sidoasri Village people. The method of implementation uses the method of demonstration directly to the participants of the firing. The results of the training are expected to create new business opportunities for the society, thereby boosting family income and reducing dependence on the economic sector. Community residents can also innovate and expand the market access of local products, and contribute to the sustainable development of the village economy.
