This study was motivated by the lack of awareness of the impact of verbal violence on the social and character development of adolescents. This community service activity aims to explore adolescents’ behaviour in dealing with verbal violence and its impact on their social life. By using qualitative methods with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and observations in three school locations: MAN 1, MAN 2, and SMA Negeri 11 Makassar City. The study highlighted the importance of awareness and management of verbal violence in adolescents’ social interactions and the need for a better approach in education and supervision of their social environment. The findings show that verbal abuse has an impact on adolescents such as a sense of trauma in them that makes them become people who are afraid to socialise and tend to think about how others perceive them.
