Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mengancingkan baju menggunakan media busy board pada anak tunagrahita kelas III di SLB B & C Flora Indonesia. Fokus penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan mengancingkan baju dengan ukuran kancing kemeja sekolah. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seorang anak tunagrahita berinisial ARR. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Dengan Subjek Tunggal atau Single Subject Research dimana tahapan pada metode tersebut terdiri dari tahap Baseline (A1), Intervensi (B), dan Baseline (A2). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media busy board dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mengancingkan baju pada anak tunagrahita. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan guru dapat menggunakan media busy board dalam mengajar keterampilan pada anak tunagrahita. The current study was aimed at improving buttoning skill using busy board media on children with mental disability in class III of SLB B & C Flora Indonesia. The focus of the study was to improve buttoning skill with school uniform button size. The subject of the study was a child with mental disability with initials of ARR. The present study applied single-subject design, where the steps of the study consisted of Baseline step (A1), Intervention (B), and Baseline (A2). The data were collected through observation. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis technique. The result of the study showed that busy board could improve the buttoning skill of a child with mental disability. Accordingly, it is suggested that teachers use busy board as a learning media to improve skills of children with mental disability.
