Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan pada siswa cerebral palsy kelas 2 SDLB menggunakan media fondant di SLB D-D1 YPAC Jakarta. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas. Dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari 8 kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan awal menulis permulaan siswa adalah 49. Setelah dilakukan tindakan siklus I rata-rata hasil kemampuan menulis permulaan siswa meningkat sebesar 62, dan meningkat lagi menjadi 85,5 pada siklus II. Secara kuantitatif penelitian ini sudah mencapai target yang diharapkan yaitu 70. Secara kualitatif setelah menggunakan media fondant, siswa NA & BN mengalami peningkatan kemampuan membuat garis lurus (garis tegak, garis datar, garis miring), tetapi untuk siswa SH, CT, & RE hanya mengalami peningkatan pada kemampuan membuat garis tegak, dan garis datar. Keterlibatan dalam belajar siswa BN meningkat. Di samping itu siswa CT & RE mengalami peningkatan fokus dalam belajar. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa media fondant dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan pada siswa cerebral palsy. This research aim to increase the ability of early writing skills through media fondant on second grade students with cerebral palsy at SLB D-D1 YPAC Jakarta. The research method used was classroom action research.The research was held in 8 meetings which divided into two cycles. The result of this research showed that the average value of the early writing skills was 49. After the media fondant had been implemented, the early writing skills of the pupils increased to 62 and increased again to 85,5 in the second cycle. Quantitatively result of this study have reached the score target of 70. Qualitatively, through media fondant the ability of each student increased. NA & BN’s early writing skill in making straight line (vertical, horizontal, diagonal) had increased but for SH, CT, & RE it was increased only for vertical, horizontal straight line. BN’s involvement in learning process was increased. On the other hand CT & RE focus were increased during the process. The result showed that media fondant can be one of media in learning for increasing early writing skills students with cerebral palsy.
