Abstract

Seiring dengan rencana pengembangan infrastruktur jaringan yang terus dilakukan oleh pihak sekolah, dibutuhkan data yang akurat dan terukur mengenai performa jaringan serta tingkat kepuasan pengguna terhadap layanan internet yang tersedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas jaringan internet kabel di SMKN 1 Jakarta dari dua aspek utama, yaitu Quality of Service (QoS) dan Quality of Experience (QoE). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengujian QoS dilakukan secara teknis dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Wireshark untuk menganalisis empat parameter utama, yaitu throughput, delay, jitter, dan packet loss, yang diukur melalui akses terhadap tiga website: YouTube, Sijurnal, dan situs resmi SMKN 1 Jakarta. Sedangkan QoE diukur melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 75 responden siswa, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode Mean Opinion Score (MOS) untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pengguna. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata MOS sebesar 3,85 berada dalam kategori “Bagus”, yang berarti mayoritas pengguna merasa puas terhadap layanan Internet meskipun masih terdapat kekurangan kecil yang tidak terlalu mengganggu. Pada sisi QoS, delay dan packet loss menunjukkan kinerja sangat baik dengan indeks rata-rata 4,00, jitter memperoleh nilai 3,00 yang menunjukkan kestabilan jaringan, sedangkan throughput mendapat nilai rata-rata 2,17 yang masih dapat diterima. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jaringan Internet kabel yang diuji mampu memberikan layanan yang stabil dan andal dalam mendukung kebutuhan pembelajaran di lingkungan pendidikan.***** In line with the ongoing development of network infrastructure at the school, accurate and measurable data is needed to assess the performance of the network and the level of user satisfaction with the available internet services. This study aims to evaluate the quality of the wired internet network at SMKN 1 Jakarta based on two main aspects: Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE). This research uses a quantitative approach. QoS testing was carried out technically using Wireshark software by analyzing four key parameters: throughput, delay, jitter, and packet loss, measured through access to three websites: YouTube, Sijurnal, and the official SMKN 1 Jakarta website. Meanwhile, QoE was measured through the distribution of questionnaires to 75 student respondents and analyzed using the Mean Opinion Score (MOS) method to determine user satisfaction. The data analysis results showed that the average MOS score was 3.85, which falls into the “Good” category, indicating that most users were satisfied with the internet service, even though there were minor shortcomings that did not significantly interfere. For QoS, delay and packet loss showed excellent performance with an average index of 4.00, jitter had a score of 3.00 indicating network stability, and throughput received an average score of 2.17, which is still acceptable. Overall, the results of this study indicate that the tested wired internet network is capable of providing stable and reliable service to support daily learning activities in the educational environment.
