Abstract

Media sosial X kini menjadi ruang diskusi yang kuat dalam membentuk opini publik dan aspirasi generasi muda, termasuk dalam keputusan bekerja di luar negeri. Salah satu tren yang mencuat adalah hashtag #KaburAjaDulu, yang mencerminkan keresahan generasi muda terhadap kondisi sosial dan ekonomi di dalam negeri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tren #KaburAjaDulu terhadap minat generasi muda untuk bekerja di luar negeri. Penelitian ini menerapkan teori hashtag engagement (cognitive, emotional, dan behavioral), teori minat melamar kerja (kebutuhan terhadap pekerjaan, upaya pencarian informasi, pemilihan pekerjaan, dan pengambilan keputusan), serta teori utama SOR (Stimulus-Organism-Response). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif eksplanatif dengan pendekatan survei terhadap 92 responden berusia 19–29 tahun yang menggunakan media sosial X dan pernah melakukan repost atau quote cuitan dengan hashtag #KaburAjaDulu, dari jumlah keseluruhan 1.100 orang menurut data Drone Emprit. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui questionnaire dan analisis data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik dan regresi linear sederhana melalui SPSS versi 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hashtag #KaburAjaDulu berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat bekerja di luar negeri dengan nilai R² sebesar 0,724. Artinya, 72,4% minat bekerja di luar negeri dapat dijelaskan oleh hashtag, sedangkan 27,6% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Persamaan regresi yang didapat adalah Y = 12,358 + 0,938 * X. Hal ini mengindikasikan adanya hubungan yang searah dan positif antara variabel hashtag dan minat bekerja, yakni semakin tinggi nilai hashtag maka semakin tinggi pula minat bekerja. Hasil uji T variabel hashtag diperoleh 15,372 > 1,662, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis alternatif (H₁) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H₀) ditolak. Artinya, terdapat pengaruh tren #KaburAjaDulu di media sosial X terhadap minat generasi muda untuk bekerja di luar negeri. Temuan ini memperkuat bukti bahwa tren media sosial dapat memengaruhi keputusan karier generasi muda, khususnya dalam konteks migrasi kerja. One prominent trend on this platform is the hashtag #KaburAjaDulu, which reflects the growing discontent among young people regarding domestic social and economic conditions. This study aims to examine the influence of the #KaburAjaDulu trend on the interest of young people in pursuing employment overseas. The research integrates the theory of hashtag engagement (cognitive, emotional, and behavioral dimensions), job application interest theory (including job necessity, information-seeking efforts, job selection, and decision-making), as well as the core Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) theory. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed, using a survey distributed to 92 respondents aged 19–29 who are active users of social media X and had previously reposted or quoted tweets containing the #KaburAjaDulu hashtag, drawn from a total population of 1,100 individuals, based on data from Drone Emprit. Data were collected through a digital questionnaire and analyzed using classical assumption testing and simple linear regression via SPSS version 27. The research findings indicate that the hashtag #KaburAjaDulu has a significant influence on the interest in working abroad, with an R² value of 0.724. This suggests that 72.4% of the interest in working abroad is influenced by the hashtag engagement, while the remaining 27.6% is attributed to other factors. The resulting regression equation is Y = 12.358 + 0.938 * X, indicating a positive and unidirectional relationship between the hashtag variable and the interest in working abroad, the higher the hashtag engagement, the greater the interest in working overseas. The t-test result for the hashtag variable is 15.372 > 1.662, leading to the conclusion that the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected. In other words, the trend of #KaburAjaDulu on social media platform X has a significant impact on young people's interest in working abroad. This finding reinforces the evidence that social media trends can influence career decisions among the younger generation, particularly in the context of labor migration.
