Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas layanan jaringan Wifi UNJ Hotspot Mahasiswa dengan mengukur parameter teknis Quality of Service (QoS) dan persepsi pengguna melalui Quality of Experience (QoE). Pengukuran QoS dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi Wireshark dengan empat parameter utama: throughput sebesar 2776 Mbps, packet loss 0,037%, delay 9,78 ms, dan jitter 9,77 ms. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa jaringan Wifi UNJ Hotspot Mahasiswa berada dalam kategori “Sangat Bagus” hingga “Bagus” menurut standar TIPHON. Sementara itu, pengukuran QoE dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada mahasiswa Rumpun Teknik Elektro. Berdasarkan hasil Mean Opinion Score (MOS), pengalaman pengguna terhadap layanan streaming video melalui YouTube dan Microsoft Stream dinilai sangat baik, dengan YouTube lebih unggul dalam kelancaran akses. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara kualitas jaringan (QoS) dan kepuasan pengguna (QoE), yang menunjukkan bahwa jaringan Wifi UNJ cukup optimal dalam mendukung pembelajaran asynchronous berbasis video. Kata Kunci: Quality of Service, Quality of Experience, Mean Opinion Score, Wifi, Wireshark. ********** This research aims to analyze the quality of the UNJ Hotspot Student WiFi network by measuring technical performance through Quality of Service (QoS) and user perception through Quality of Experience (QoE). QoS was measured using Wireshark with four key parameters: throughput (2776 Mbps), packet loss (0.037%), delay (9.78 ms), and jitter (9.77 ms). These results indicate that the network quality falls under the “Excellent” to “Good” category based on the TIPHON standard. Meanwhile, QoE was measured using a questionnaire distributed to students of the Electrical Engineering cluster at the Faculty of Engineering. The results, based on the Mean Opinion Score (MOS), showed high user satisfaction, with YouTube perceived as smoother compared to Microsoft Stream when accessed using the campus WiFi. The findings reveal a positive correlation between network performance (QoS) and user satisfaction (QoE), indicating that the UNJ Hotspot Student WiFi is sufficiently optimal in supporting video-based online learning.
