Abstract
Era digital dan online saat ini berdampak pada segala bidang, termasuk bidang pendidikan. Namun sebagai contoh pada administrasi pendidikan, presensi mahasiswa di beberapa institusi pendidikan terutama pada Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika masih dilakukan secara manual. Maka dirancang sebuah sistem presensi kehadiran mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika menggunakan QR code dan fingerprint bertujuan untuk mempermudah dalam merekapitulasi presensi kehadiran mahasiswa serta tidak adanya kesalahan dalam mengisi presensi kehadiran. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode Research & Development (R&D). Perancangan sistem presensi kehadiran mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika menggunakan QR code dan fingerprint menggunakan ESP32 sebagai pengendali utama, sensor fingerprint AS608 sebagai input, dan LCD 16x2 sebagai output untuk menampilkan data kehadiran yang kemudian data tersebut diteruskan dan disimpan pada database serta Telegram mahasiswa. Hasil pengujian sensor fingerprint AS608 pada tahap Pre-Liminary Testing terdapat error sebesar 9,33% dengan 15 mahasiswa serta pada tahap Main Field Testing terdapat error sebesar 5% dengan 20 mahasiswa. Sistem presensi kehadiran mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika menggunakan QR code dan fingerprint berhasil dirancang dengan baik serta hasil presensi dikirimkan kepada setiap mahasiswa & secara real-time. ***** In digital and online era has an impact on all fields, including education. However, for example in educational administration, student attendance at several educational institutions, especially at the State University of Jakarta, the Electronic Engineering Education Study Program is still done manually. Therefore, an attendance system for Electronic Engineering Education students using QR codes and fingerprints aims to simplify the recapitulation of student attendance and eliminate errors in filling in attendance attendance. The research was conducted using the Research & Development (R&D) method. The design of the attendance system for Electronic Engineering Education students using QR codes and fingerprints uses ESP32 as the main controller, the AS608 fingerprint sensor as input, and a 16x2 LCD as output to display attendance data which is then forwarded and stored in the database and student Telegram. The results of the AS608 fingerprint sensor test at the Pre-Liminary Testing stage showed an error of 9,33% with 15 students and at the Main Field Testing stage there was an error of 5% with 20 students. The attendance system for Electronic Engineering Education students using QR codes and fingerprints was successfully designed well and the attendance results were sent to each student & in real-time.
