Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan teknik pomodoro dalam menurunkan tingkat prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa BK Angkatan 2015 Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP) Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian subjek tunggal (single subject research) desain A-B. A adalah kondisi baseline yaitu kondisi yang belum diberikan intervensi dan B adalah kondisi intervensi dengan penerapan teknik pomodoro. Responden berinisial DD, diambil dengan metode purposive sampling. Prokrastinasi akademik yang dialami oleh DD yaitu menulis proposal skripsi. Perilaku tersebut ditandai dengan perilaku DD yang sudah menunda menulis proposal skripsi selama hampir 1 tahun. Teknik pomodoro diterapkan melalui kegiatan konseling individual dengan pendekatan behavioral. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik pomodoro mampu menurunkan tingkat prokrastinasi akademik dalam menyelesaikan proposal skripsi. Penerapan teknik dilakukan dalam waktu 6 sesi, dengan total jumlah pomodoro yang digunakan sebanyak 68 pomodoro (P) selama rentang waktu 15 hari. Nilai rata-rata persentasi prokrastinasi akademik mengalami penurunan. Pada fase baseline nilai rata-rata presentase 86% (kategori tinggi), dan pada fase intervensi menjadi 63% (kategori rendah). Hal ini ditandai dengan A (Antecedent)= DD sudah memiliki perencanaan untuk menyelesaikan proposal skripsinya, B (Behavior)= DD telah menyelesaikan proposal skripsinya selama 15 hari, dan proposal tersebut akan dikonsultasikan kepada dosen pembimbing secara bertahap berdasarkan bab nya, C (Consequence)= DD dapat merasa tenang, tidur lebih nyenyak, dan termotivasi dalam mengerjakan proposal skripsi. Kata Kunci: Teknik Pomodoro, Prokrastinasi Akademik Mahasiswa, Penulisan Proposal Skripsi ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the implementation of the pomodoro technique in reducing the level of academic procrastination in active students 2015 year, Guidance and Counseling study program, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ). This research is a single subject research A-B design. A is a baseline condition which is a condition that has not been given an intervention and B is an intervention condition with the implementation of the pomodoro technique. DD (initial name) is respondent for this reasearch, taken with the method of purposive sampling. Academic procrastination experienced by DD is writing thesis proposals. This behavior is marked by DD's behavior which has delayed writing thesis proposals for almost 1 year. The pomodoro technique is applied through individual counseling activities with a behavioral approach. The results showed that the Pomodoro technique was able to reduce the level of academic procrastination in completing a thesis proposal. The technique was implemented in 6 sessions, with a total number of pomodoro used as many as 68 pomodoro (P) over a span of 15 days. The average percentage of academic procrastination has decreased. In the baseline phase the average value was 86% (high category), and in the intervention phase it was 63% (low category). This is indicated by A (Antecedent) = DD already has plans to complete the thesis proposal, B (Behavior) = DD has completed the thesis proposal for 15 days, and the proposal will be consulted with the supervisor in stages based on his chapter, C (Consequence) = DD can feel calm, sleep better, and be motivated in writing thesis proposal.
