Abstract
Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi di bidang pendidikan, kebutuhan akan sistem pembelajaran daring yang terstruktur dan terpusat semakin meningkat. Namun, beberapa SMK seperti SMKN 1 Jakarta, SMKN 40 Jakarta, dan SMK 1 Perguruan Cikini masih menghadapi tantangan, seperti penggunaan Platform yang beragam, antarmuka yang kurang mendukung, serta belum adanya sistem terpusat untuk membantu guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Frontend Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Web bernama SIMPEL (Sistem Pembelajaran Elektronik) yang difokuskan untuk mendukung kebutuhan guru. Pengembangan dilakukan menggunakan metode Agile dengan kerangka kerja Scrum, melalui tiga Sprint selama tiga bulan, mencakup Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, dan Sprint Retrospective. Frontend dibangun dengan React JS dan memuat fitur utama seperti autentikasi pengguna, pengumuman, mata pelajaran, materi, tugas, forum diskusi, penilaian, pengumpulan tugas, manajemen pengguna, dan kostumisasi sekolah. Sistem diuji melalui Black Box Testing oleh tim internal dan pengguna dari tiga sekolah. Validasi akhir dilakukan dengan metode Contract Acceptance Testing (CAT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan seluruh fitur berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna, dengan tingkat keberhasilan 100%. Sistem ini siap diintegrasikan dengan backend untuk mendukung pembelajaran di SMK secara menyeluruh. ***** With the advancement of technology in the field of education, the demand for structured and centralized online learning systems is increasing. However, several vocational schools such as SMKN 1 Jakarta, SMKN 40 Jakarta, and SMK 1 Perguruan Cikini still face challenges, including the use of diverse platforms, inadequate user interfaces, and the absence of a centralized system to support teachers in managing the learning process. This study aims to develop a Web-based frontend for a Learning Management System (LMS) called SIMPEL (Sistem Pembelajaran Elektronik), which is specifically designed to meet the needs of teachers. The development was carried out using the Agile method with the Scrum framework through three Sprints over the course of three months, covering Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. The frontend was built using React JS and includes core features such as user authentication, announcements, subjects, learning materials, assignments, discussion forums, assessments, assignment submissions, user management, and school customization. The system was tested using Black Box Testing by an internal team and users from three schools. Final validation was conducted using the Contract Acceptance Testing (CAT) method. The results showed that all features functioned properly and met user needs, with a 100% success rate. The system is ready to be integrated with the backend to fully support learning activities in vocational schools.
