Abstract
Pendidikan abad ke-21 menuntut siswa tidak hanya menguasai pengetahuan, tetapi juga keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah. Namun, Tingkat kemampuan kolaborasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran belum optimal dan kemampuan problem solving peserta didik masih belum berkembang secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan kolaborasi terhadap kemampuan problem solving pada 57 peserta didik kelas X SMK Negeri 4 Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis jalur. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung yang signifikan antara pemahaman konsep terhadap problem solving (R² = 0,206; β = 0,668; p<0,05), serta antara kolaborasi terhadap problem solving (R² = 0,358; β = 0,225; p<0,05). Selain itu, terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung signifikan dari pemahaman konsep terhadap problem solving melalui kolaborasi (Z = 2,740), dan sebaliknya, dari kolaborasi melalui pemahaman konsep (Z = 2,407). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penguatan pemahaman konsep dan peningkatan kolaborasi merupakan strategi penting dalam membangun kemampuan problem solving yang utuh. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan model pembelajaran produktif dan kontekstual di SMK. ***** Twenty-first century education demands that students not only master knowledge but also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. However, students' collaboration skills in the learning process remain suboptimal, and their problem-solving abilities are not yet fully developed. This study aims to analyze the influence of conceptual understanding and collaboration skills on students’ problem-solving abilities among 57 tenth-grade students at SMK Negeri 4 Jakarta. A quantitative approach was used, employing path analysis as the method. The results revealed a significant direct influence of conceptual understanding on problem-solving ability (R² = 0.206; β = 0.668; p < 0.05), as well as a significant direct influence of collaboration on problem-solving ability (R² = 0.358; β = 0.225; p < 0.05). Additionally, there was a significant indirect influence of conceptual understanding on problem-solving ability through collaboration (Z = 2.740), and vice versa, an indirect influence of collaboration through conceptual understanding (Z = 2.407). These findings indicate that strengthening conceptual understanding and enhancing collaboration skills are essential strategies for developing students’ comprehensive problem-solving abilities. The implications of this research may serve as a foundation for developing productive and contextual learning models in vocational education.
