Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media lifting the flap book berbasis whole language pada materi kosakata siswa kelas II SD dan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media dan antusias siswa kelas II terhadap media lifting the flap book ini. Responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas II SDN Menteng Atas 01 Pagi Jakarta Selatan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model ADDIE dengan tahap analisis, perencanaan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan implikasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Hasil rekapitulasi media lifting the flap book yang dilakukan oleh ahli media mendapatkan nilai 98,3% dengan kategori Sangat Baik (SB), ahli materi mendapatkan nilai 97,5%, dan ahli bahasa mendapatkan nilai 92,5%. Hasil rekapitulasi uji coba siswa kelas II pada tahap one to one evaluation yang melibatkan 3 siswa mendapatkan nilai 94,5%, pada tahap small group yang melibatkan 9 siswa mendapatkan nilai 84,4%, dan pada tahap uji coba field test yang melibatkan 18 siswa mendapatkan nilai 86%. Oleh karena itu media lifting the flap book ini dapat dikatakan valid dan layak untuk digunakan pada materi kosakata siswa kelas II sekolah dasar. This development research aims to develop a whole language-based lifting the flap media on the vocabulary material at second graders of elementary school and to find out the feasibility of the media and the enthusiasm at second graders of SDN Menteng Atas 01 Pagi South Jakarta. The development model used is the ADDIE model with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The recapitulation results of the media lfting the flap book conducted by media expert scored 98,3%, material expert scored 97,5%, and linguists scored 92,5%. The recapitulation of second graders trials in the one to one evaluation stage involving 3 students scored 94,5%, in the small group stage involving 9 students scored 84,4%, and in the field test group stage involving 18 students scored 86%. Therefore, this lifting the flap book can be said to be valid and feasible to be used in vocabulary materials for second graders at elementary school.
