Abstract
***** This research aims to analyse the control of circulation material inventory to minimise the risk of overstock and stockout in PT XYZ Warehouse by applying the Min-Max Stock method. The main focus of this research is directed to two types of materials, namely Rotary Metre and Turbine Metre, which have a high turnover rate and a vital role in supporting the smooth distribution of gas. The method used is descriptive quantitative with a case study approach based on historical data of material receipts and expenditures during the period from January to December 2024. The results of the analysis show that Rotary Metre has a relatively stable demand pattern with an average usage of 29.17 units per month, so it can be controlled efficiently with a safety stock of 1 unit, a minimum stock of 4 units, and a maximum stock of 6 units. On the other hand, Turbine Metre shows a more volatile demand level with an average expenditure of 231.92 units per month, so a safety stock of 8 units, a minimum stock of 31 units, and a maximum stock of 46 units is required. The application of the Min-Max Stock method is proven to provide more measurable and adaptive inventory control limits to demand fluctuations, as well as being able to increase warehouse operational efficiency by maintaining optimal material availability. Thus, this method can be used as a reference in compiling a more effective and efficient inventory control policy, especially for companies engaged in the distribution of circulating materials.
