Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan menganalisis tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler Taekwondo di SMPN 31 Depok. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 13 siswa laki-laki dan perempuan berusia 13 hingga 16 tahun. Pengukuran kebugaran jasmani dilakukan menggunakan Tes Kebugaran Siswa Indonesia (TKSI) yang meliputi tes lari 12 menit (VO₂Max) untuk menilai daya tahan kardiovaskular, tes push up untuk mengevaluasi kekuatan otot lengan, tes sit up untuk mengukur kekuatan otot perut, dan penilaian skor kebugaran jasmani keseluruhan. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata VO₂Max sebesar 13,46 ml/kg/menit dengan distribusi nilai skewness positif 1,725, menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta mempunyai kebugaran kardiorespirasi sedang dengan beberapa individu memiliki nilai tinggi. Pada tes push up, rata-rata kemampuan mencapai 13,38 kali dengan skewness 0,720, sedangkan tes sit up menunjukkan rata-rata 16,62 kali dengan distribusi data yang merata (skewness 0,280). Skor kebugaran jasmani keseluruhan rata-rata sebesar 6,23 (skewness 2,438) menunjukkan mayoritas peserta dalam kategori sedang. Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan fisik antara laki-laki dan perempuan; laki-laki cenderung memiliki nilai lebih tinggi dan variatif, terutama pada daya tahan aerobik dan kekuatan otot, sedangkan perempuan menunjukkan hasil yang lebih homogen dan stabil. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa ekstrakurikuler Taekwondo memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap kebugaran jasmani siswa, meskipun diperlukan pengembangan program latihan berkelanjutan khususnya untuk meningkatkan daya tahan kardiovaskular dan kekuatan otot agar kebugaran jasmani peserta dapat meningkat secara optimal sesuai norma TKSI. **** This study aims to measure and analyze the physical fitness levels of students participating in the Taekwondo extracurricular activity at SMPN 31 Depok. The research sample consisted of 13 male and female students aged 13 to 16 years. Physical fitness assessments were conducted using the TKSI (Indonesian Student Fitness Test), which includes a 12-minute run (VO₂Max) to evaluate cardiovascular endurance, a push-up test to assess arm muscle strength, a sit-up test to measure abdominal muscle strength, and an overall physical fitness score evaluation. The results showed an average VO₂Max of 13.46 ml/kg/min with a positive skewness of 1.725, indicating that most participants had moderate cardiorespiratory fitness, with a few individuals achieving high scores. In the push-up test, the average performance was 13.38 repetitions with a skewness of 0.720, while the sit-up test showed an average of 16.62 repetitions with a relatively even data distribution (skewness of 0.280). The average overall physical fitness score was 6.23, with a skewness of 2.438, suggesting that the majority of participants fell into the moderate fitness category. There were physical performance differences between male and female students; males tended to have higher and more varied scores, especially in aerobic endurance and muscle strength, while females showed more homogeneous and stable results. The study concludes that participation in Taekwondo extracurricular activities contributes positively to students' physical fitness. However, it is recommended that a sustainable training program be developed, particularly to improve cardiovascular endurance and muscle strength, so that students' physical fitness can optimally improve in accordance with TKSI (Indonesian Student Fitness Test) standards.
