Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh antara latihan Reaction Drill dan Improving Quickness Reaction terhadap kelincahan atlet futsal SF Winner kategori U-13. Kelincahan merupakan komponen biomotor yang sangat penting dalam permainan futsal karena berkaitan langsung dengan kemampuan pemain dalam merespons situasi pertandingan, terutama dalam melakukan transisi permainan, bertahan, dan penguasaan bola. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah true-experimental design dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 40 orang atlet SF Winner U-13 yang dibagi secara acak menjadi dua kelompok, masing-masing berjumlah 20 orang. Kelompok pertama diberikan perlakuan berupa latihan Reaction Drill dan kelompok kedua diberikan perlakuan Improving Quickness Reaction selama 16 sesi latihan dalam waktu dua bulan. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kelincahan adalah Hexagon Test. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kedua jenis latihan memberikan peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap kelincahan atlet. Namun, latihan Improving Quickness Reaction menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan Reaction Drill. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Improving Quickness Reaction lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kelincahan atlet futsal usia 13 tahun. Kata kunci: kelincahan, reaction drill, improving quickness reaction, futsal, U-13. ***** This study aims to determine the difference in the effects between Reaction Drill training and Improving Quickness Reaction training on the reaction speed of SF Winner U-13 futsal athletes. Reaction speed is a crucial biomotor component in futsal, as it is directly related to a player’s ability to respond to match situations, especially in game transitions, defense, and ball control. The research method used was a true-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 40 SF Winner U-13 athletes, randomly divided into two groups of 20 athletes each. The first group received Reaction Drill training, while the second group received Improving Quickness Reaction training for 18 training sessions over two months. The instrument used to measure reaction speed was the Hexagon Test. Data analysis showed that both types of training significantly improved athletes’ reaction speed. However, the Improving Quickness Reaction training showed greater improvement compared to the Reaction Drill. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Improving Quickness Reaction method is more effective in enhancing the reaction speed of 13-year-old futsal athletes.
