Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. 2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Leaflet BPBD terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan bencana gempa bumi pada peserta didik kelas X SMAN 1 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen, serta desain penelitian quasi experimental design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara random sampling, dengan populasi seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMAN 1 Jakarta. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas X-2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang mendapatkan pembelajaran menggunakan media PowerPoint, dan kelas X-4 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media Leaflet BPBD. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui bahwa peningkatan pengetahuan siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 11 poin, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 9 poin. Hasil nilai post-test kedua kelas kemudian diuji menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test dengan nilai signifikansi (Sig.) sebesar 0,01 < 0,05. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil post-test kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dari penggunaan media Leaflet BPBD terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan bencana gempa bumi pada peserta didik kelas X SMAN 1 Jakarta. ***** Cahya Dwi Saputra. (1402620040). The Effect of Using BPBD Leaflet Media in Increasing Earthquake Disaster Knowledge Among 10th Grade Students of SMAN 1 Jakarta, Thesus. Jakarta : Geography Education Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University. 2025. This study aims to determine the effect of using BPBD leaflets as a learning medium on increasing earthquake disaster knowledge among tenth-grade students at SMAN 1 Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative method with an experimental approach, using a quasi-experimental design. The sampling technique used was random sampling, with the population being all tenth-grade students at SMAN 1 Jakarta. The sample consisted of class X-2 as the control group, which received learning through PowerPoint, and class X-4 as the experimental group, which was taught using BPBD leaflets. Based on data analysis results, students in the experimental class showed an 11-point increase in knowledge, while the control class showed a 9-point increase. The post-test scores of both classes were analyzed using an Independent Sample T-Test, yielding a significance value (Sig.) of 0.01 < 0.05. This indicates that the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) was accepted, meaning there is a significant difference between the post-test scores of the control and experimental groups. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of BPBD leaflets positively influences students’ knowledge of earthquake disasters.
