Abstract

Indonesia still has a high unemployment rate. Vocational High Schools are the highest open unemployment based on education. The problem of unemployment can be overcome by one of the ways, namely entrepreneurship. For this reason, it is necessary to have entrepreneurial practices and income expectations in order to increase interest in entrepreneurship. This study examines these three variables to determine the contribution of entrepreneurial practices and income expectations in increasing interest in entrepreneurship. This study uses a quantitative method with primary data collected through an online survey. The data collection instrument is an online questionnaire assisted by Google Forms, which uses a Likert scale. This study involved 188 students as samples, selected using proportional random sampling techniques based on the Taro Yamane table. The data were analyzed using Smart PLS software, the results showed that entrepreneurial practices have a direct positive and significant effect on income expectations, entrepreneurial practices have a direct positive and significant effect on interest in entrepreneurship, income expectations have a direct positive and significant effect on interest in entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial practices through income expectations have an indirect effect on interest in entrepreneurship. ***** Indonesia masih memiliki tingkat pengangguran yang tinggi. Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan menjadi pengangguran terbuka tertinggi berdasarkan pendidikan. Masalah pengangguran dapat diatasi dengan cara salah satunya yaitu berwirausaha. Untuk itu perlu adanya praktik kewirausahaan dan ekspektasi pendapatan dalam rangka meningkatkan minat berwirausaha. Penelitian ini mengkaji ketiga variabel tersebut untuk mengetahui kontribusi praktik kewirausahaan dan ekspektasi pendapatan dalam meningkatkan minat berwirausaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui survei daring. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner daring berbantuan Google Formulir, yang menggunakan skala Likert. Penelitian ini melibatkan 188 siswa sebagai sampel, dipilih menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling berdasarkan tabel Taro Yamane. Data dianalisis dengan perangkat lunak Smart PLS, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa praktik kewirausahaan berpengaruh langsung yang positif dan signifikan terhadap ekspektasi pendapatan, praktik kewirausahaan berpengaruh langsung yang positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha, ekspektasi pendapataana berpengaruh langsung yang positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha, dan praktik kewirausahaan melalui ekspektasi pendapatan berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap minat berwirausaha.
