Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat model belajar keterampilan renang gaya dada berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) pada mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dari Borg and Gall dengan subjek mahasiswa program studi pendidikan jasmani. Jumlah subjek pada saat uji coba kelompok kecil sebanyak 10 orang di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Yayasan Pendidikan Ujung Pandang (YPUP) Makassar, uji skala kelompok besar sebanyak 50 orang di Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan dan Kesehatan (FIKK) Universitas Negeri Makassar, dan pada saat uji efektifitas sebanyak 60 orang dimana 30 orang untuk kelompok kontrol dan 30 orang kelompok eksperimen yang dilaksanakan di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Muhammadiyah Palopo. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes penilaian keterampilan renang gaya dada. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 22 item model belajar keterampilan renang gaya dada pada mahasiswa program studi pendidikan jasmani. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji N-Gain Score tersebut, menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata untuk kelompok kontrol sebesar 35,90 atau 36% termasuk dalam kategori tidak efektif. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata untuk kelompok eksperimen sebesar 59,87 atau 60% termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1). Penelitian dengan menerapkan metode pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) model Borg and Gall telah berhasil dilaksanakan dan menghasilkan produk berupa model belajar keterampilan renang gaya dada berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) pada mahasiswa; 2). Produk pengembangan berupa model belajar keterampilan renang gaya dada berbasis Augmented Reality (AR), telah terbukti layak dan dapat diimplementasikan oleh dosen pengampuh mata kuliah pembelajaran renang lanjutan dalam upaya meningkatkan keterampilan renang gaya dada pada mahasiswa; 3). Produk pengembangan berupa model belajar keterampilan renang gaya dada berbasis Augmented Reality (AR), telah terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan renang gaya dada pada mahasiswa program studi pendidikan jasmani. ***** This study aims to develop a breaststroke swimming skill learning model based on Augmented Reality (AR) for university students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) following the Borg and Gall model, involving students from the Physical Education Study Program. The small group trial involved 10 participants from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Ujung Pandang Education Foundation (YPUP) Makassar. The large-scale group trial involved 50 participants from the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences (FIKK), State University of Makassar. The effectiveness test was conducted on 60 participants, consisting of 30 students in the control group and 30 students in the experimental group, at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Muhammadiyah University of Palopo. The instruments used in this study included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and breaststroke swimming skill assessment tests. This research resulted in 22 learning model items for breaststroke swimming skills tailored for physical education students. Based on the N-Gain Score calculation, the average score for the control group was 35.90 or 36%, which falls under the ineffective category. Meanwhile, the average score for the experimental group was 59.87 or 60%, classified as moderately effective. Therefore, it can be concluded that: (1) The research applying the Research and Development (R&D) method based on the Borg and Gall model was successfully carried out, producing a breaststroke swimming skill learning model using Augmented Reality (AR); (2) The developed product has been proven to be feasible and can be implemented by lecturers of advanced swimming courses to improve students' breaststroke swimming skills; (3) The developed AR-based learning model has been proven effective in enhancing breaststroke swimming skills among physical education students.
