Abstract
Lingkungan belajar merupakan faktor penting dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran dan pengembangan kompetensi 21st century skills siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Namun, hingga saat ini belum tersedia instrumen yang secara khusus mengukur lingkungan belajar pada bidang keahlian teknologi konstruksi dan bangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen lingkungan belajar yang valid dan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa SMK pada bidang tersebut. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4D, yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Konstruk lingkungan belajar didasarkan pada teori ekologi Bronfenbrenner pada lapisan mikrosistem, yang mencakup empat dimensi: teman sebaya, orang tua, guru, dan sarana prasarana. Instrumen disusun dalam bentuk non-tes menggunakan pendekatan Situational Judgement Test (SJT) dan skala Likert. Validasi isi dilakukan oleh ahli materi, bahasa, dan instrumen dengan hasil validitas tinggi. Instrumen kemudian disebarkan pada siswa SMK Negeri bidang teknologi konstruksi dan bangunan di wilayah Jabodetabek. Uji validitas konstruk menggunakan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) menunjukkan hasil goodness of fit model yang baik. Dimensi guru memberikan kontribusi tertinggi terhadap konstruk lingkungan belajar. Hasil akhir dari proses pengembangan menghasilkan 14 butir instrumen dari empat dimensi utama yang telah disederhanakan berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji CFA. Instrumen ini layak digunakan sebagai alat ukur lingkungan belajar untuk mendukung evaluasi dan pengembangan pembelajaran di SMK bidang teknologi konstruksi dan bangunan.*****The learning environment is an important factor in supporting the learning process and developing 21st-century skills competencies in Vocational High School (VHS) students. However, until now, there has been no instrument specifically measuring the learning environment in the field of construction and building technology expertise. This study aims to develop a valid learning environment instrument appropriate to the characteristics of vocational high school students in this field. The development method used is the 4D model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The learning environment construct is based on Bronfenbrenner's ecological theory at the microsystem layer, which includes four dimensions: peers, parents, teachers, and infrastructure. The instrument was developed in a non-test format using the Situational Judgment Test (SJT) approach and a Likert scale. Content validation was carried out by material, language, and instrument experts with high validity results. The instrument was then distributed to state vocational high school students majoring in construction and building technology in Jabodetabek area. Construct validity testing using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) showed good results in the goodness of fit model. The teacher dimension provided the highest contribution to the learning environment construct. The final results of the development process yielded a 14-item instrument across four main dimensions, simplified based on validation and CFA testing. This instrument is suitable for use as a learning environment measurement tool to support the evaluation and development of learning in vocational high schools (VHS) specializing in construction and building technology.
