Abstract

Dengan mempertimbangkan literasi keuangan sebagai faktor yang berfungsi sebagai moderator, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki sejauh mana perilaku keuangan memengaruhi keputusan investasi dalam cryptocurrency. Tiga jenis bias psikologis utama dalam perilaku keuangan adalah overconfidence, herding effect, dan disposition effect. Ini adalah fokus penelitian. Metode survei digunakan untuk pendekatan kuantitatif dan data dikumpulkan secara online dari 210 orang yang tergabung dalam komunitas investor cryptocurrency di platform Telegram. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga bias psikologis tersebut berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada keputusan investasi di aset kripto. Namun, hanya hubungan antara disposition effect dan keputusan investasi yang dimoderasi secara signifikan oleh literasi keuangan dari ketiga interaksi moderasi yang diuji. Dengan kata lain, literasi keuangan memiliki kemampuan untuk mengurangi bias disposition effect , tetapi tidak cukup untuk mengurangi overconfidence dan herding effect. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini menambah literatur tentang perilaku keuangan, khususnya dalam hal investasi digital. Namun, dari perspektif praktis, temuan penelitian ini menekankan bahwa investor kripto harus lebih sadar keuangan untuk menghindari membuat keputusan yang dipengaruhi oleh bias psikologis. Kata kunci: Perilaku Keuangan, Keputusan Investasi, Cryptocurrency, Literasi Keuangan, Moderasi ***** By considering financial literacy as a moderating factor, this study aims to examine the extent to which financial behavior influences investment decisions in cryptocurrency. The research focuses on three main types of psychological biases in financial behavior: overconfidence, herding effect, and disposition effect. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method, and data were collected online from 210 individuals who are members of a cryptocurrency investor community on the Telegram platform. The findings indicate that all three psychological biases have a significant and positive influence on investment decisions in crypto assets. However, among the three tested moderation interactions, only the relationship between disposition effect and investment decision was significantly moderated by financial literacy. In other words, financial literacy has the ability to reduce the influence of the disposition effect but is not sufficient to mitigate the impact of overconfidence and herding effect. Theoretically, this study contributes to the existing literature on financial behavior, particularly in the context of digital investments. From a practical standpoint, the findings highlight the importance of increased financial awareness among crypto investors to avoid making decisions influenced by psychological biases.
