Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan sampah di RW 010 Kelurahan Kebon Baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deksriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Pengambilan data dengan survei kuesioner, dari 712 populasi dengan menggunakan perhitungan Nomogram Harry King mendapatkan 72 sampel penelitian. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan Purposiver Sampling untuk mengambil wakil dari responden sesuai kriteria yang telah ditentukan yaitu ibu rumah tangga. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dibagikan secara langsung ke masyarakat RW 010 Kelurahan Kebon Baru. Dalam menganalisis data menggunakan SPSS for Windows untuk menentukan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Kemudian, pengelolaan data secara deskriptif statistika dengan kategori perhitungan likert dan analisis persentase. Hasil mengindentifikan tingkat kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan sampah melalui tiga indikator utama yaitu pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku. Pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan sampah termasuk “tinggi” dengan persentase 55,56%, untuk sikap masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan sampah termasuk “sangat tinggi” dengan rata-rata 4,28 dan perilaku masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan sampah termasuk “cukup/sedang” dengan rata-rata 2,91 dan tingkat kesadaran masyarakat RW 010 Kelurahan Kebon Baru termasuk “tinggi”. Meskipun begitu masih perlu adanya kerjasama dari semua pihak baik masyarakat maupun pemerintah setempat untuk selalu mengupayakan agar masyarakat yang masih belum berpartisipasi aktif dalam pengelolaan sampah, dapat muncul keinginan hingga berperan aktif dalam pengelolaan sampah. This study employs a quantitative descriptive method with a survey approach. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire survey, targeting a population of 712, and using Harry King's Nomogram calculation to obtain a sample of 72 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was Purposive Sampling to select representatives from respondents based on predetermined criteria, specifically housewives. Data collection in this study utilized questionnaires distributed directly to the community of RW 010 Kebon Baru Village. Data analysis was performed using SPSS for Windows to determine validity and reliability tests. Subsequently, data management was conducted descriptively with statistical categories based on Likert scale calculations and percentage analysis. The results identified the level of community awareness regarding waste management through three main indicators: knowledge, attitude, and behavior. The community's knowledge of waste management was categorized as "high" with a percentage of 55.56%, while the community's attitude towards waste management was categorized as "very high" with an average of 4.28. The community's behavior towards waste management was categorized as "moderate" with an average of 2.91, indicating that the level of awareness in RW 010 Kebon Baru Village is "high." However, there is still a need for cooperation from all parties, both the community and the local government, to encourage those who have not yet actively participated in waste management to develop a desire to engage actively in waste management.
