Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pengungkapan diri di second account instagram terhadap kesepian pada dewasa awal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif. Penelitian ini memiliki total 404 responden dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu UCLA Loneliness Version 3 milik Russell (1996) dan Revised Self Disclosure Scale (RSDS) milik Wheeless (1978). Analisis statistik untuk menguji hipotesis adalah regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pengungkapan diri di second account instagram terhadap kesepian pada dewasa awal. Pengungkapan diri memiliki pengaruh terhadap kesepian sebesar 3% dengan arah yang negatif. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi pengungkapan diri di second account instagram, maka semakin rendah kesepian pada dewasa awal. ***** This study aims to see the influence of self-disclosure on a second account instagram on the loneliness in early adulthood. The research method used is quantitative. This study has a total of 404 respondents with purposive sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The measuring instruments used were Russell's UCLA Loneliness Version 3 (1996) and Wheeless' Revised Self Disclosure Scale (RSDS) (1978). Statistical analysis to test the hypothesis is simple linear regression. The results showed that there is an influence of self-disclosure on a second account instagram on the loneliness in early adulthood. Self-disclosure has an impact on loneliness by 3% with a negative direction. It can be concluded that the higher the self-disclosure on second account instagram users, the lower the loneliness in early adulthood.
