Abstract
Komik mempunyai banyak peminat sebagai bentuk komunikasi visual yang memiliki kekuatan untuk menyampaikan informasi secara populer dan mudah dimengerti. Keberadaan internet, mejadikan komik bertranformasi menjadi bentuk digital. Hal ini merupakan peluang bagi dunia pendidikan. Berbagai penelitian menunjukan bahwa komik digital dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran, khususnya dalam berbagai topik fisika. Komik digital sebagai media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan motivasi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan komik digital fisika “Museum Explorer: from Ibnu Firnas to Bernoulli Principle”. Komik digital dikembangkan untuk menjadi media pembelajaran pendukung fisika pada materi prinsip Bernoulli. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode research and development dengan pendekatan 4D. Pendekatan tersebut memiliki tahapan Define (mendefinisikan), Design (perancangan), Develop (pengembangan), dan Disseminate (penyebaran). Namun, penelitian dibatasi hingga tahap Develop (pengembangan). Komik melalui uji ahli dengan hasil sebesar 80% untuk aspek materi dan 85,50% untuk aspek media. Uji coba penggunaan produk dilakukan dalam uji coba skala kecil dan uji coba skala besar pada peserta didik SMA di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa komik digital fisika “Museum Explorer: from Ibnu Firnas to Bernoulli Principle” layak digunakan sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran fisika khususnya pada materi prinsip Bernoulli. ********************* Comics are widely favored as a form of visual communication, possessing the ability to convey information in a popular and easily comprehensible manner. With the advent of the internet, comics have undergone a transformation into digital formats—an evolution that presents a significant opportunity for the field of education. Numerous studies have demonstrated that digital comics can serve as an effective alternative medium for instruction, particularly in the context of physics education. As a learning medium, digital comics have the potential to enhance students’ problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and overall learning motivation. This study aims to develop a digital comic entitled “Museum Explorer: Ibnu Firnas and Bernoulli’s Principle” as a supplementary instructional medium for teaching the concept of Bernoulli’s Principle in physics. The research employed a research and development (R&D) methodology, adopting the 4D model—Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. However, this study was limited to the Develop phase. The developed comic underwent a feasibility evaluation by expert reviewers, yielding scores of 80% for the material aspect and 85.50% for the media aspect. Product implementation was tested through both small-scale and large-scale trials involving senior high school students in Jakarta. The findings indicate that the digital physics comic “Museum Explorer: Ibnu Firnas and Bernoulli’s Principle” is appropriate and feasible for use as a supplementary learning medium, particularly in supporting students’ understanding of Bernoulli’s Principle in physics.
