Abstract

ABSRTAK De Lara Siti Maulida. (2020). Merancang Model Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah Writing yang Berbasis Kompetensi TIK untuk Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa inggris. Tesis. Jakarta: Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Untuk memenuhi tuntutan mengintegrasikan Kompetensi TIK dalam proses belajar mengajar, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model pembelajaran mata kuliah Writing yang telah terintegrasi Kompetensi TIK. Penelitian ini menggunakan Model Design dan Pengembangan (DDR) yang telah dimodifikasikan dari konsep Richey and Klein yang terdiri dari empat langkah yaitu analisis kebutuhan, design, evaluasi, dan revisi. Prosedur merancang model pembelajaran tersebut melibatkan analisis dokumen dan observasi. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa: 1) model pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh universitas yang dteliti adalah Scaffolding, dan Reciprocal Teaching yang berada dalam kategori pendekatan kognitif, Direct Instruction yang berada dalam kategori pendekatan behaviour. Selanjutnya, penerapan kompetensi TIK dalam model pembelajaran yang diteliti masih didominasi oleh Knowledge Deepening. 2) kompetensi TIK yang telah diintegrasikan dalam model pembelajaran berada pada metode dan teknik pembelajaran dimana melibatkan Technology Literacy, Knowledge Deepening, dan Knowledge Creation untuk mengembangkan dan menerapkan pengetahuan tentang Writing, keterampilan, dan proses menulis untuk empat mata kuliah Writing yaitu Basic Writing, Professional Writing, Creative Writing, and Academic Writing. 3) model pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi TIK yang dirancang untuk mata kuliah Writing mengadaptasi pendekatan kognitif, behaviour, dan humanistik dengan berbagai macam model pembelajaran untuk memenuhi capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah tersebut, yaitu; Direct Instruction, Computer Assisted Instruction, dan Project-based Learning. Ketiga model pembelajaran tersebut sesuai untuk mata kuliah Writing ABSTRACT De Lara Siti Maulida. (2020). Designing ICT Competences- Integrated Model of Teaching of Writing Courses for English Language Education Study Program (Research and Development Study of English Language Education). Thesis. Jakarta: Master Program of English Language Education, faculty of Language and Art, State University of Jakarta. Regarding the requirement of integrating ICT competences in learning and teaching process, this research aims at designing Models of Teaching of Writing Courses which are infused with ICT competences. This research employed Design and Development Reserach which has been modified from Richey and Klein concept with four stages of research, which are need analysis, design, evaluation, and revision. The procedures of designing models of teaching involved document analysis and observation. The findings showed; 1) the existing models of teaching in writing courses are Scaffolding, and Reciprocal Teaching which are categorized as cognitive approach and Direct Instruction which is categorized as behaviorism approach. Additionally, the employment of ICT competences in existing models of teaching is dominated by Knowledge Deepening. 2) The procedures of ICT competences in Model of Teaching are integrated in methods and techniques that covers Technology Literacy, Knowledge Deepening, and Knowledge Creation to develop and apply knowledge of writing concepts, skills and processes in four writing courses which are Basic Writing, Professional Writing, Creative Writing, and Academic Writing. 3) The Design of ICT Competences Models of Teaching of writing courses adapt cognitive, behavioral, and humanistic approach with various types of model to fulfill each goal of writing courses, which are; Direct Instruction, Computer Assisted Instruction, and Project-based Learning. Those models are appropriate for all Writing Courses.
