Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh interaksi sosial antar-etnis terhadap sikap multikultural mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKN) Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum (FISH) Universitas Negeri Jakarta angkatan 2021-2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian survei. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan stratified random sampling, dan sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 79 responden yang dihitung menggunakan rumus slovin dengan margin error 10%. Pada variabel Interaksi Sosial Antar Etnis (X) dan Sikap Multikultural (Y) digunakan rumus korelasi product moment pearson untuk uji validitas dan rumus alpha cronbach untuk uji reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara interaksi sosial antar-etnis dengan sikap multikultural mahasiswa. Hal ini diketahui dari hasil uji signifikansi menunjukkan nilai t-hitung (6,555) > t-tabel (1,667) dan nilai Sig. (<0,001) < (0,05). Koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,358 menunjukkan bahwa interaksi sosial antar-etnis mempengaruhi sikap multikultural mahasiswa sebesar 35,8%, dari teknik pengolahan data meliputi uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan uji regresi linear sederhana.Kesimpulan yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara interaksi sosial antar-etnis dengan sikap multikultural mahasiswa. Hal ini mengandung arti bahwa semakin baik interaksi sosial antar-etnis mahasiswa, semakin baik pula sikap multikultural mereka.Kata Kunci:Interaksi Sosial Antar-Etnis, Sikap Multikultural, Mahasiswa. ***** This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of inter-ethnic social interaction on students'multicultural attitudes. The study was conducted on students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Program (PPKN) at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law (FISH) of the University of Jakarta, cohort 2021-2024. The study employed a quantitative method with a survey research design. The sample was determined using stratified random sampling, with a sample size of 79 respondents calculated using the Slovin formula with a margin of error of 10%. For the variables of Interethnic Social Interaction (X) and Multicultural Attitude (Y), the Pearson product-moment correlation formula was used for validity testing, and the Cronbach's alpha formula was used for reliability testing. The results of the study indicate a significant influence between inter-ethnic social interaction and multicultural attitudes among students. This is evident from the significance test results, which show that the calculated t-value (6.555) > the table t-value (1.667) and the Sig. (<0.001) < (0.05). The coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.358 indicates that interethnic social interaction influences students' multicultural attitudes by 35.8%, based on data analysis techniques including normality tests, linearity tests, and simple linear regression tests.The conclusion drawn from this study is that there is a positive and significant influence between interethnic social interaction and students' multicultural attitudes. This implies that the better the interethnic social interaction among students,the better their multicultural attitudes.Keywords: Interethnic Social Interaction, Multicultural Attitudes, Students.
