Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan perubahan iklim melalui Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL) terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa pada materi Pemanasan Global. Metode kuasi-eksperimen digunakan dengan desain nonequivalent control group Pretest-posttest pada dua kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Kota Bekasi tahun ajaran 2024/2025: kelas kontrol menggunakan metode Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dan kelas eksperimen Project-Based Learning (PjBL) yang terintegrasi perubahan iklim. Instrumen berupa kuesioner Likert lima poin. Analisis statistik meliputi uji Shapiro-Wilk, Levene’s Test, ANCOVA, uji-t dependen, dan ukuran efek Cohen’s d. Hasil menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan atau perubahan signifikan secara statistik antara kedua kelompok, dengan nilai signifikansi ANCOVA (p=0,216), kelas kontrol (p=0,169), dan eksperimen (p=0,728). Efek praktis juga sangat kecil (d=0,232 kontrol; d=0,061 eksperimen). Ketidakefektifan PjBL diduga akibat durasi intervensi yang singkat, kurangnya refleksi, belum terbentuknya kolaborasi, dan pemahaman kontekstual yang rendah. Disarankan agar pendidikan lingkungan berbasis proyek dirancang lebih kontekstual, reflektif, dan berkelanjutan untuk membentuk sikap peduli yang bermakna.*****This study aims to analyze the impact of climate change education through Project-Based Learning (PjBL) on students' environmental care attitudes in the topic of Global Warming. A quasi-experimental method was applied using a nonequivalent control group Pretest-posttest design involving two Grade X classes at SMA Negeri 4 Kota Bekasi in the 2024/2025 academic year: the control group received Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and the experimental group received PjBL integrated with climate change content. A five-point Likert scale questionnaire was used to measure environmental attitudes. Statistical analysis included the Shapiro-Wilk test, Levene’s test, ANCOVA, dependent t-test, and Cohen’s d effect size. Results showed no statistically significant differences between groups (ANCOVA p=0.216), nor within-group changes (control: p=0.169; experimental: p=0.728). The effect sizes were minimal (control: d=0.232; experimental: d=0.061), indicating limited practical impact. The ineffectiveness of PjBL is believed to be caused by a short intervention duration, lack of reflective activities, undeveloped collaborative habits, and low contextual understanding of the project. Therefore, it is recommended that environmental education through projects be designed to be more contextual, reflective, and continuous to foster meaningful changes in environmental attitudes.
