Abstract

Ibu tunggal yang berprofesi sebagai guru Sekolah Dasar memiliki tantangan ganda dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai ibu dan pendidik di sekolah. Beban peran yang besar tersebut dapat berpengaruh terhadap kondisi psychological well-being dalam menghadapi berbagai peristiwa hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dinamika psychological well-being dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi psychological well-being pada ibu tunggal yang berprofesi sebagai guru Sekolah Dasar di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semi terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang ibu tunggal yang berprofesi sebagai guru Sekolah Dasar di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ketiga subjek memiliki dinamika psychological well-being yang berbeda, dengan dimensi penerimaan diri, tujuan hidup, dan penguasaan lingkungan menjadi aspek yang paling menonjol. Namun, beberapa dimensi seperti pertumbuhan diri, relasi sosial, dan otonomi masih perlu ditingkatkan. Selain itu, faktor-faktor seperti religiusitas, dukungan sosial, usia, kepribadian, dan status sosial ekonomi turut memengaruhi psychological well-being para subjek. ***** Single mothers who work as elementary school teachers face dual challenges in carrying out their roles as mothers and educators at school. This heavy burden of roles can affect their psychological well-being in facing various life events. The purpose of this study was to determine the dynamics of psychological well-being and the factors that influence it in single mothers who work as elementary school teachers in Jakarta. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews and documentation. The informants in this study were three single mothers who work as elementary school teachers in Jakarta. The results of this study indicate that the three subjects have different dynamics of psychological well-being, with the dimensions of self-acceptance, life purpose, and environmental mastery being the most prominent aspects. However, several dimensions such as self-growth, social relations, and autonomy still need to be improved. In addition, factors such as religiosity, social support, age, personality, and socioeconomic status also influence the psychological well-being of the subjects.
