Abstract

Era globalisasi yang semakin berkembang secara signifikan berdampak pada kemajuan pengetahuan dan teknologi. Hal ini menuntut peserta didik untuk memainkan peran dalam pembelajaran abad ke-21 guna menghadapi tantangan zaman. Pengetahuan yang kuat tentang ekosistem sangat penting untuk membentuk perilaku positif. Lebih dari sekedar aspek kognitif, keterampilan berpikir kritis juga merupakan faktor kunci dalam mengembangkan perilaku bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan. Perilaku ini diharapkan ada pada setiap peserta didik, memupuk generasi yang tidak hanya memahami solusi untuk masalah lingkungan, tetapi juga berpartisipasi aktif dalam melindungi dan melestarikan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penguasaan konsep ekosistem dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan perilaku tanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Februari 2025 di SMP Shidqia Islamic School dengan sampel 112 peserta didik, penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan desain korelasional. Uji prasyarat, meliputi normalitas, homogenitas, linearitas, heteroskedastisitas, multikolinearitas, dan autokorelasi, dilakukan untuk memastikan validitas analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi antara penguasaan konsep ekosistem peserta didik dengan perilaku bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan peserta didik; antara keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan perilaku bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan peserta didik; dan yang terpenting antara penguasaan konsep ekosistem dan keterampilan berpikir kritis secara gabungan dengan perilaku bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan.***** The increasingly significant development of the globalization era has an impact on the advancement of knowledge and technology. demanding that students play a meaningful role in 21st-century learning to meet a challenges. A strong knowledge of ecosystems is crucial for shaping positive behavior, and beyond cognitive aspects, critical thinking skills are also a key factor in developing environmentally responsible behavior. This behavior is hoped to be present in every student, fostering a generation that not only understands solutions to environmental problems but also actively participates in protecting and preserving the environment. This research aims to determine the relationship between students' mastery of ecosystem concepts and their critical thinking skills with environmentally responsible behavior. Conducted in February 2025 at SMP Shidqia Islamic School with a sample of 112 students, the study employed a descriptive method with a correlational design. Prerequisite tests, including normality, homogeneity, linearity, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and autocorrelation, were performed to ensure the validity of the analysis. The research findings indicate a moderate correlation between students' mastery of ecosystem concepts and their environmentally responsible behavior; their critical thinking skills and environmentally responsible behavior; and notably, between mastery of ecosystem concepts and critical thinking skills combined with environmentally responsible behavior.
