Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh father involvement terhadap perilak agresif pada remaja madya di SMA (X) Jakarta. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan metode regresi sederhana. Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner berupa google form yang disebarkan secara langsung kepada responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah stratified rendom sampling dengan jumlah responden penelitian sebanyak 255 siswa dengan usia 15-18 tahun. Instrumen untuk variabel agresivitas bernama Buss-Prry Aggression Questionnaire (BPAQ) yang peneliti adopsi dari penelitian terdahulu. Sedangkan untuk variabel father involvement menggunakan inventory of father involvement (IFI) yang peneliti adaptasi dari teori Hawkins (2002). Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan analisis regresi sederhana dengan satu variabel prediktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan antara father involvement terhadap perilaku agresif remaja madya di SMA (X) Jakarta sebesar 0,001 (Sig.<0,05). Variabel father involvement memberikan pengaruh terhadap perilaku agresif remaja madya sebesar 5,8%. Tingkat father involvement pada responden secara keseluruhan berada di kategori sedang (64%) dan tingkat perilaku agresif responden juga berada di kategori sedang (65%). ***** This study aims to determine the effect of father involvement on aggressive behavior in junior high school adolescents at SMA (X) Jakarta. This study is a quantitative study and uses a simple regression method. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire in the form of a google form which was distributed directly to respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was stratified random sampling with a total of 255 students with an age range of 15-18 years. The instrument for the aggressiveness variable is called the Buss-Prry Aggression Questionnaire (BPAQ) which the researcher adopted from previous research. While for the father involvement variable using the inventory of father engagement (IFI) which the researcher adapted from Hawkins' theory (2002). Hypothesis testing was carried out using simple regression analysis with one predictor variable. The results showed that there was a significant negative effect between father involvement on aggressive behavior in junior high school adolescents at SMA (X) Jakarta 0.001 (Sig. <0.05). The father involvement variable has an influence on aggressive behavior in junior high school adolescents by 5.8%. The overall level of involvement of respondents' fathers was in the moderate category (64%) and the level of respondents' aggressive behavior was also in the moderate category (65%).
