Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbandingan Relational Mobility antara suku Betawi dan Sunda. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 153 responden dengan rincian 78 responden suku Betawi dan 75 responden suku Sunda. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu teknik statistik parametrik menggunakan IBM SPSS versi 26. Adaptasi kedalam kultur masyarakat Indonesia diukur menggunakan Relational Mobility Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Yuki dkk. (2007). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbandingan Relational Mobility secara signifikan antara suku Betawi dan Sunda (p = 0,036). Keanggotaan suku hanya menjelaskan sekitar 2,9% dari total variasi skor Relational Mobility, sehingga gambaran besar perbedaan antara suku Betawi dan Sunda termasuk dalam kategori kecil.*****This study aims to determine whether there is a comparison of relational mobility between the Betawi and Sundanese ethnic groups. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample size in this study was 153 respondents, consisting of 78 Betawi respondents and 75 Sundanese respondents. The data analysis technique employed was parametric statistical analysis using IBM SPSS version 26. Cultural adaptation within Indonesian society was measured using the Relational Mobility Scale developed by Yuki et al. (2007). The results of the study indicate that there is a significant difference in relational mobility between the Betawi and Sunda ethnic groups (p = 0.036). Ethnic group membership explains only about 2.9% of the total variation in relational mobility scores, so the overall difference between the Betawi and Sunda ethnic groups falls into the small category.
