Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan dimensi logika budaya antara suku Aceh dan suku Bali. Logika budaya terdiri dari tiga dimensi utama, yaitu dignity (martabat), face (muka), dan honor (kehormatan). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif komparatif dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 191 orang, terdiri dari 99 responden suku Aceh dan 92 responden suku Bali. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen Dignity, Face, and Honor Cultural Norms Scale dan dianalisis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada dimensi dignity (t = 2,18; p = 0,030) dan honor (t = -3,85; p < 0,001) antara kedua suku. Suku Bali memiliki budaya yang lebih dominan pada dimensi dignity, sedangkan suku Aceh memiliki budaya yang lebih dominan pada dimensi honor. Tidak ditemukan perbedaan signifikan pada dimensi face (t = -1,26; p = 0,212) antara kedua suku. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan nilai budaya memengaruhi cara pandang, perilaku, dan interaksi sosial masyarakat pada kedua suku tersebut.***** This study aims to identify the differences in cultural logic dimensions between the Acehnese and Balinese ethnic groups. Cultural logic consists of three main dimensions: dignity, face, and honor. The research used a comparative quantitative approach with a total of 191 participants, including 99 Acehnese and 92 Balinese respondents. Data were collected using the Dignity, Face, and Honor Cultural Norms Scale and analyzed with an independent sample t-test. The results showed significant differences in the dignity (t = 2.18; p = 0.030) and honor (t = -3.85; p < 0.001) dimensions between the two ethnic groups. The Balinese ethnic group exhibits a more dominant culture in the dignity dimension, while the Acehnese ethnic group shows a stronger dominance in the honor dimension. There was no significant difference in the face dimension (t = -1.26; p = 0.212) between the two groups. These findings indicate that cultural value differences influence perspectives, behaviors, and social interactions in both ethnic groups.
