Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pemahaman nilai kemanusiaan dan kecerdasan emosional dengan perilaku prososial remaja. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 97 responden remaja yang diperoleh melalui rumus Lemeshow. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes untuk variabel Pemahaman Nilai Kemanusiaan dan angket untuk variabel Kecerdasan Emosional serta Perilaku Prososial Remaja yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara pemahaman nilai kemanusiaan dan kecerdasan emosional dengan perilaku prososial. Hasil tersebut dilihat dari uji kolerasi berganda dimana nilai R nya yaitu 0,792. Kategori nilai tersebut adalah kuat. Selain itu, terdapat hubungan positif antara pemahaman nilai kemanusiaan dengan perilaku prososial remaja dengan persamaan regresi yaitu Y=90,223+0,686X. Lalu, antara kecerdasan emosional dengan perilaku prososial remaja memiliki persamaan regresi yaitu Y=33,012+0,712X. Serta, pemahaman nilai kemanusiaan dan kecerdasan emosional secara simultan juga memiliki koefisien determinasi sebesar 62,7% menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel bebas tersebut secara bersama-sama mampu menjelaskan variasi perilaku prososial, sementara sisanya dilihat oleh faktor lain di luar model. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bahwa upaya peningkatan perilaku prososial dapat dilihat dengan menunjukkan pentingnya pendidikan nilai dan pengelolaan emosi dalam membentuk perilaku prososial. The method used in this research is quantitative. The sample consisted of 97 adolescent respondents, determined using the Lemeshow formula. Data collection instruments included a test for the variable of understanding humanitarian values and questionnaires for the variables of emotional intelligence and adolescents’ prosocial behavior, all of which had been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis results show that there is a positive relationship between the understanding of humanitarian values and emotional intelligence with prosocial behavior. This is indicated by the result of the multiple correlation test, where the R value is 0.792, which falls into the strong category. In addition, a positive relationship was found between the understanding of humanitarian values and adolescents’ prosocial behavior with the regression equation: Y= 90.223 + 0.686X. Furthermore, the regression equation between emotional intelligence and adolescents’ prosocial behavior is Y= 33.012 + 0.712X. The understanding of humanitarian values and emotional intelligence together also yielded a coefficient of determination of 62.7%, indicating that these two independent variables jointly explain 62.7% of the variation in prosocial behavior, while the remaining 37.3% is explained by other factors outside the model. This study implies that efforts to enhance prosocial behavior can be supported by emphasizing the importance of value education and emotional management in shaping such behavior.
