Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis ChatGPT dengan pendekatan Meaningful Learning pada materi Gelombang di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang mengadaptasi model pengembangan sistem pembelajaran Dick and Carey. Pengembangan modul didasarkan pada kebutuhan siswa terhadap pembelajaran yang interaktif, relevan, dan bermakna, serta untuk menjawab tantangan dalam memahami konsep-konsep abstrak seperti gelombang. Modul dirancang agar dapat digunakan secara mandiri maupun terstruktur di kelas, dengan fitur utama integrasi ChatGPT sebagai tutor virtual yang dapat memberikan penjelasan materi, menjawab pertanyaan, dan menyajikan latihan soal secara adaptif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul dinyatakan layak digunakan oleh ahli media (83,25%), ahli pembelajaran oleh dosen (100%), ahli pembelajaran oleh guru (76%), dan ahli materi (85%). Uji coba terbatas pada kelas kecil menunjukkan respon positif dari peserta didik sebesar 77,9%, lalu uji kelas besar menunjukan yang menyatakan respon positif dari peserta didik sebesar 76,85%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, modul berbasis ChatGPT ini dinyatakan layak sebagai media pembelajaran yang mendukung pendekatan meaningful learning dalam materi gelombang di tingkat SMA*****This study aims to develop a physics learning module based on ChatGPT with a Meaningful Learning approach for Wave material in senior high school. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D), adapting the Dick and Carey instructional systems design model. The development of the module is grounded in students' needs for interactive, relevant, and meaningful learning, and to address the challenges in understanding abstract concepts such as waves. The module is designed to be used independently or in a structured classroom setting, with its main feature being the integration of ChatGPT as a virtual tutor capable of delivering explanations, answering questions, and providing adaptive practice exercises. Validation results indicated that the module is considered feasible by media experts (83.25%), learning experts from university lecturers (100%), learning experts from school teachers (76%), and subject matter experts (85%). A small-scale trial showed a positive response from students at 77.9%, followed by a large-scale trial with a student positive response rate of 76.85%. Based on the findings, this ChatGPT-based module is declared appropriate as a learning medium that supports the meaningful learning approach for wave material at the senior high school level
