Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik three-step interview terhadap kemampuan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas VII MTs Miftahul Falah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian prates-pascates grup kontrol. Uji-t dan uji fisher digunakan sebagai teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini. Hasil uji-t pada skor pascates antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menujukan bahwa skor thitung 2,340> ttabel 2,063 dengan dk 24. Taraf signifikan = 0,05. Karena thitung > ttabel berarti H1 diterima. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa menerapkan teknik three-step interview berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas VII MTs Miftahul Falah. Dari hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa aspek struktur definisi umum, definisi manfaat, dan aspek kebahasaan kata kopula mengalami kenaikan yang paling dominan. Dari hasil di atas, teknik three-step interview dapat dijadikan teknik yang baik dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi, selain itu dapat juga diimplikasikan untuk materi pembelajaran teks deskripsi dengan KD 3.2 Menelaah stuktur dan unsur kebahasaan dari teks deskripsi tentang objek yang didengar dan dibaca sepasang dengan KD 4.2 yaitu menyajikan data, gagasan, kesan dalam bentuk teks deskripsi tentang objek secara tulis dan lisan dengan memperhatikan struktur dan aspek kebahasaan baik secara lisan maupun tulis. This study aims to determine the effect of the three-step interview technique on the ability to write report texts of Grade VII students of MTs Miftahul Falah. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a pre-test control group research design. The t-test and fisher test were used as data analysis techniques in this study. The results of the t-test on the post-test scores between the experimental class and the control class indicated that the tcount score of 2.340> ttable 2.063 with dk 24. Significant level α = 0.05. Because tcount> ttable means H1 is accepted. The results of this study indicate that applying the three-step interview technique has an effect on the ability to write report texts on observations of Grade VII students of MTs Miftahul Falah. The results of the assessment showed that aspects of the structure of the general definition, the definition of benefits, and the linguistic aspects of the word copula experienced the most dominant increase. Based on the above results, the three-step interview technique can be used as a good technique in learning to write description text, but it can also be implied for the description text learning material with KD 3.2 Examining the structure and linguistic elements of the description text about the object being heard and read in pairs with KD 4.2 is to present data, ideas, impressions in the form of text descriptions about objects written and orally by paying attention to the structure and aspects of language both verbally and in writing.
