Abstract

Permasalahan kehidupan menjadi semakin kompleks dan menuntut individu memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis. Kemampuan ini merupakan salah satu kompetensi penting abad ke-21 yang perlu dikembangkan melalui pendidikan. Salah satu model pembelajaran inovatif yang berpotensi meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah ILMIZI. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran ILMIZI terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 98 Jakarta menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan nonequivalent (pretest-posttest) control-group design. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 34 peserta didik di tiap kelas. Data tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dianalisis statistik secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Berdasarkan uji prasyarat, data dinyatakan normal dan homogen. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, maka dinyatakan model pembelajaran ILMIZI berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi perubahan lingkungan, dengan efektivitas sedang berdasarkan normalized gain dan pengaruh yang sangat besar berdasarkan effect size. Data observasi dan angket menunjukkan penerapan model pembelajaran ILMIZI terlaksana dengan sangat baik, dan sebagian besar peserta didik memberi respon positif terhadap berbagai aktivitas pada model tersebut. Melalui aktivitas pembelajaran dengan model ILMIZI, peserta didik mengidentifikasi dan membatasi masalah, membuat peta pikiran, melakukan interpretasi dan analisis hasil peta pikiran, serta mengomunikasikan dan mengevaluasi hasil, sehingga dapat mendukung pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis. ***** Life's problems are becoming increasingly complex and require individuals to have critical thinking skills. This ability is one of the important competencies of the 21st century that needs to be developed through education. One innovative learning model that has the potential to improve critical thinking skills is ILMIZI. This study aims to analyze the effect of the ILMIZI learning model on students' critical thinking skills on environmental change topics. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 98 Jakarta using a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent (pretest-posttest) control-group design. This study was conducted in experimental and control classes, with a research sample of 34 students in each class. Critical thinking ability test data were analyzed statistically, descriptively and inferentially. Based on the prerequisite test, the data were normal and homogeneous. Based on the hypothesis test, it was stated that the ILMIZI learning model affected students' critical thinking skills on environmental change topics, with moderate effectiveness based on normalized gain and a very large effect based on effect size. Observation and questionnaire data showed that the implementation of the ILMIZI learning model was implemented very well, and most students responded positively to various activities on that model. Through learning activities with the ILMIZI model, students identify and limit problems, create a mind map, interpret and analyze the results of the mind map, and communicate and evaluate the results, which support the development of critical thinking skills.
